Admittedly I've not gone back to the earliest levels of the game in my side missions yet, so I don't know how much they've changed (if at all) from the way they were arranged earlier. Not to spoil anything, but at some point during the story, you'll gain some new mobility options that probably aren't compatible with the earlier levels as designed, and you might break things mechanically if you brought those mobility options into the first part of the game. Strangely, despite the LKW being a directed energy weapon, it appears to use a toggle-lock action, similar to the Hand guns and the Automatic Shotgun. When fully upgraded, the LKW fires in a way similar to the Unmaker demon laser in DOOM 64 / Absolution. You can search them to your heart's content even after you've re-killed everyone there and eventually you'll find all the collectibles.įrankly I'm not sure NG+ would even work due to the way the game is set up. The LaserKraftWerk is B.J.'s signature weapon in The New Order. The souped up, fully charged LKW fitted with projectile fire (a can’t-miss upgrade in the campaign) and a target scope can pick apart even the heavily armored Nazis with one or two shots. Blazkowicz, a US Army Ranger who is on a mission to launch a counter-offensive against the oppressive Nazi army. The game is set in the 1960s and you play as Captain B.J. Can't replay missions, dunno if that feature will be added in later, but you can return to a level section and it'll be repopulated with enemies (including commanders who will drop more Enigma cards). Wolfenstein: The New Order is an old school FPS that takes place during an alternate history where the Nazi's won WWII. The 171 Collectibles are following Items: 72 Enigma Codes, 50 Gold Items, 16 Map Locations, 10 Letters, 10 Health Upgrades, 10 Armor Upgrades and 3 Records. There are total of 12 Upgrades but the last Laserkraftwerk Upgrade looks pointless. But nothing is truly "missable" because you can return to levels you've completed by decoding Enigma cards to unlock them.
